Description

Great Day Lawn Pro Hi-Hitch

Riding Lawnmowers have the power and the low center of gravity to be natural towing machines. With the Hi-Hitch, a regular riding mower can be transformed into one of the handiest tools ever for pulling small trailers. Whether you’re hauling off trash on a utility trailer, bringing up firewood or just positioning your ski boat in your garage, the Hi-Hitch gets the job done!

The Hi-Hitch is braced and positioned perfectly at just the right height to keep trailers level and well-balanced. With super-strong aircraft aluminum construction, the Hi-Hitch provides a lot of “horsepower” with very little weight added to the machine. Installs in easily and accepts all conventional trailer-hitch balls.

The Hi-Hitch mounts to most conventional riding lawnmowers with a minimum of drilling or modifications.

Will accept trailer balls with a 3/4-inch shank or smaller

Note: Some drilling will be required to install this item

NOTE: Trailer hitch ball not included.

This hitch connects to the S240 riding lawnmower without any modifications or drilling required. Works perfectly for moving my 5'x8' utility trailer around the property.

Super idea and product
I purchased this hitch to help move a log splitter and a trailer loaded with firewood at my new lakefront home. No drilling was required and no disassembly. I taped the support arm nuts to a ratchet and had no problem installing it. No use yet, but I am impressed with the quality.

Great product,,well made, welded joints. I've only used it a few times so far but it works great for me. I had to drill two holes to mount the support brackets to the tractor, JD X360, and two holes in the main tube to get things aligned but a few minutes with metal bits and a drill did it easily. It's Aluminum so drilling is pretty easy. I use it to tow my landscape trailer around the yard with mulch, topsoil or whatever so I don't have to use my pickup.

The hitch is well made, but is too large for my John Deere X360. I had to rebend and redrill the braces and the upright,as I didn't want to drill holes in my new lawn tractor. The hitch could be 4" shorter in height, with less of an angle outward for my average trailer tongue heights of 16". In this case, one size does not fit all.

Mr.
This is just what I've been looking for; a ball hitch to tow my tongue-heavy log splitter so I don't have to lower the tongue by hand to the original low mounted tractor hitch. HOWEVER, could only use 1 mounting bracket because the mounting holes are drilled through the grass bagger system mounting slots. Hope the one bracket is strong enough to haul heavy trailers! We shall see.

Works great with my JD D 110. Bolted right up with no problems. Just the right height for my trailer, back up and hook up. I highly recommend this hitch.

PRO HI - HITCH
I was suprised of the weight, so light. I could bend the metal and make it fit without drilling any holes. When the weather is warmer I will see how it works. It is about 4" higher than my truck hitch. It looks great. I will be 73 years young and hope to stay young.

Many of my trailers have tongue jacks that wont lower enough to set on a ball mounted on my 325. This remedied that nicely. It is will built and easy to install. Please make a front hitch that will raise and lower using my hydraulics like the snowthrower does and I will stand in line to buy.
