John Deere 42-inch Mower Deck Rebuild Kit

This Mower Deck Rebuild Kit contains everything that you will need to keep your mower deck cutting at peak performance.
 
Kit includes:
  • (1) GX20072 belt
  • (2) GX20249 blade
  • (4) 19M7786 blade bolts
  • (2) 14M7400 idler lock nuts
  • (15) GX20234 spindle mounting bolts
  • (2) GY20785 spindle hub assemblies with grease fittings
  • (1) GY20067 idler pulley
  • (1) GY20629 idler pulley

Spindle hub mounting holes are not threaded at factory. Mounting bolts are thread cutting bolts. It is recommended that threads be cut on workbench before installation.

Mower Deck Rebuild Kit
Good product. The spindles with the grease fittings quieted the machine substantially. Was easy to rebuild and took about an hour. Hardest thing about it was loosening the old bolts.

It was a snap......
Self threading screws threw me a curve but once I tapped them with a small hammer, everything worked just fine.

Mow Man
Everything arrived as expected. Likewise the teardown was more difficult than the reassembly especially removing the large pulley nuts. The self threading screws for the bearing blocks worked fine. Good to see grease fittings in these. Perhaps my original set would have lasted longer if they had them. Service and help on line was quick and excellent.
