Bought my John Deere STX38 from an individual JD dealer in 1993 and used this Maintenance Kit every year. Replaced the oil filter, fuel filter, spark plug, air filter whether it needed it or not. Today this Lawn Tractor still runs like a top after 20 years and several thousand hours of service. This Maintenace Kit is the best item in the Deere Parts store. |

This kit has what it takes to make your John Deere purr again. The price is actually pretty good. My STX38 started up right away after installing the maintenance kit and a magneto coil. The only suggestion would be to add some carb cleaner to the package. You definitely have a loyal customer now. Best regards, S.Frye |
