Description

With Predator2 blades it starts with the steel, featuring a unique steel that incorporates boron, carbon, manganese, and other materials that ensure its strength. The final step in the process is the patented and independently tested Marbain® heat-treating process. This process makes Predator2 blades approximately 25% - 40% harder than standard lawnmower blades, making them the longest-lasting, safest and most impact resistant lawnmower blades on the market.

Benefits of the Predator2 blade:
  • Flat blade design preferred by most commercial mowers.
  • Extended cutting length for increased cutting efficiency
  • Superior mulching capabilities over traditional mulching blades
  • The airflow tooth design increases blade strength while producing more airflow for smaller clippings
  • Cutting edges stay sharper longer
  • Wear resistance in the most strenuous conditions
  • Impact toughnes
  • Resistance to bending
  • Tightest tolerances in the aftermarket vs. OEM
  • Can be used in place of M127500, M127673 and M145476 John Deere mower blade
Blade specifications:
  • 17-3/32-inches long, 2-1/2-inches wide, .197 thick with 51/64-inch arbor hole

The blades are terrible. They do mulch better, but leave the mulch on top because of their design- not enough downdraft. Stick with the OEM blades for mulchers, the JD baldes that came with my mulching kit worked much better. The OEM blades have a full cutting edge also, which leaves less stragglers if you have some pesky weeds.

The 3-48" blades I purchased are of good quality, balanced well and are working great.
