72 Inch Deck Gator Mulcher G6 Blade  

The Oregon Gator G6 396-775 blade is enhanced with carbide. This heavy duty blade is designed for commercial applications and built to withstand rough conditions with top performance and longevity.

  • Tungsten carbide is fused into the blade – creating an ultra-hard layer at the cutting edge and increasing the time between sharpening
  • Greater width and thickness extends blade life and allows for longer lifting arch to improve bagging and mulching
  • The aggressive blade angle increases air flow to push debris up-and-out for superior bagging or side discharge

Gator Mulching Blades that fit a John Deere 72-inch 7 Iron deck. Gator Blades feature teeth on the back side of the blade. These teeth do not cut the grass a second time, they redirect the airflow under the deck to bring the grass clippings back towards the center of the blade to be cut again. This results in shorter clippings and less windrowing (Piling up of grass) as it comes out of the deck.

Another nice feature about the Gator blades is they have less vacuum that regular mower blades. This will allow you to mow over some rocks and sticks without picking them up and launching them as far as the regular blades do.

This blade set WILL NOT FIT the 72-inch 7 Iron Decks on the Z Trak Mowers.
