30-Day Return Policy for John Deere Items
(RMA Required)
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you need to return a John Deere item, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
How to Request an RMA
- Submit an RMA request through your online account using the order number associated with the item.
- If you do not have an account or are unable to access it, please visit the “Contact Us” page (located at the top or bottom of our website) and select Returns.
Once your RMA request is submitted, our team will review the information and provide:
- Return instructions
- Available options
- Any applicable restocking fees
All returned items are subject to a restocking fee.
If you would like to know the restocking fee for an item prior to purchase, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
Do not send parts back without an approved RMA.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect the returned parts, refunds will be issued to the original payment method, excluding:
- Original delivery charges
- Expedited processing or shipping fees
Late Returns
Items returned after the 30-day return window will either:
- Be shipped back to you at your expense, or
- Be disposed of, according to your preference
Non-John Deere Items Policy
Due to varying vendor policies and pricing structures, Green Part Store does not accept returns on non-John Deere items.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Frontier
- Sunbelt
- A&I
- SERVICEGARD
- Medart
- Curtis
- Parts Depot
- Vintage Parts
Please ensure all compatibility, specifications, and suitability questions are addressed before completing your purchase.
Electrical Items
Green Part Store cannot accept returns on electrical items.
Cancellation Policy
From the time an order is placed, customers have one (1) hour to cancel.
Because we begin processing orders immediately, cancellation requests must be submitted within this timeframe.
How to Cancel
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Include (CANCEL) and your GPS order number in the subject line
Cancellation requests submitted after the one-hour window are subject to our return policy.
Refunds for shipping charges after the one-hour window are issued at the sole discretion of Green Part Store on a case-by-case basis.
Expedited Processing & Shipping Fees
Expedited processing and shipping fees are non-refundable in most cases.
Because expedited fees often involve ordering parts into stock immediately, these costs are typically incurred before a cancellation or return request is made.
To determine whether your expedited fee is refundable, please contact our customer service team directly.
Used Items
Used items are non-returnable.
If an item is returned in used condition, it will either:
- Be returned to you at your expense, or
- Be disposed of, at your request
If you need additional information or clarification during installation, please contact us before use.
Defective Items & Warranty
If you receive:
- A defective product, or
- The wrong part due to an error on our behalf
- Items must not have been installed
We will:
- Exchange the item or
- Issue a full refund for the part
Warranty Details
- John Deere parts carry a 6-month warranty against defects in material or workmanship
- Parts damaged due to improper installation or use are not warrantable
- Installed electrical components are not returnable, per industry standards
- After 30 days, warranty issues are handled on a case-by-case basis
- We do not offer warranties beyond the manufacturer’s warranty
- For Non-John Deere Items please contact the manufacturer for warranty procedure
Please contact us for warranty consideration. Shipping is not covered for warranty items and is solely on the consumer.
Country of Origin
Country of origin is not a valid reason for return or warranty.
All John Deere parts sold by Green Part Store are OEM parts sourced directly from John Deere. John Deere may source parts globally, and AHW LLC and GreenPartStore.com have no control over the manufacturing country. All parts meet John Deere’s strict engineering standards.
Shortages & Damaged Goods
Order Shortages
If an item is shorted from your order, it will be shipped as soon as it becomes available.
Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged:
- Please describe the damage and your best estimate of how it occurred
- Retain all shipping materials
- If the package shows obvious shipping damage, contact the shipper immediately
For UPS, call 1-800-742-5877.
Do not return damaged items unless instructed to do so.
If a return is required, we will cover the return shipping only for items we request to be returned.
Refund Timing
Please note that many credit card issuers may take up to 7-10 business days to post a refund after we issue the credit.
Final Notice
Green Part Store reserves the right to:
- Deny a return or credit, and/or
- Apply a restocking fee
at any time, including for reasons not listed above.
Shipping Policy:
We at GreenPartStore.com will do everything in our power to ship your order in a timely manner. On average, orders are shipped within 1 - 2 business days (Monday thru Friday) after the order is placed. During peak Spring/Summer order season shipments may be delayed a day or two due to outstanding demand. Please order well in advance of date that the item is needed by. Remember UPS only delivers Monday thru Friday unless special arrangements are made.
Orders ship from our web site warehouse at 1753 N State Rt 1., Watseka IL 60970.
Our system is set up to minimize back orders. However, if this occurs, the long term back ordered item will be deleted from the order and a credit will be issued to the original method of payment. Out of stock items will be ordered from John Deere and will require 3-4 days turn-a-round time.
You can also choose from a variety of other UPS options. UPS Ground Residential, which will deliver your package 1-5 business days after it ships. To see a UPS Ground Time-in-Transit map click here. UPS 3-day select is the 3-business days after ship day option. UPS 2nd day air service will deliver your package 2 business days after the day the order ships. UPS next day air gets your package to you the first business day after it ships. Please remember to add a day or two to these delivery times to allow for order processing.
These shipping times are for examples only. Be aware that the day the item ships, does not count. 2nd day means 2 business days after the day the order is shipped. The day the item ships depends on the volume of orders and the availability of product. It is best to plan ahead so that you receive your orders well in advance of the event they are ordered for. Please note that our shipper pickup time is normally around 4:00 pm Central Time each day. Orders placed after 2:00 pm will probably ship the next day.
Please note: ORMD products which include all aerosol containers as well as other hazardous products are not allowed to be shipped by Premium UPS shipping methods which include 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air or any International shipping method.
Please note: GreenPartStore.com makes no shipping guarantees other than those advertised by our shippers. Please send us an e-mail with details explaining any claim you may wish to pursue. We will file the claim with the shipper for you.
We charge sales tax as required by law. If you have a sales tax exemption please create an account and contact us with your sales tax exemption certificate or other appropriate documentation before placing order.
