John Deere 38-inch Thatcher Attachment

An 8-inch extension is available separately LP48003 - Order 1 for 46-inch and 2 for 54-inch

Order appropriate mounting kit also required. LP48005 or BM20853

The thatcher, used on a regular basis, reduces excessive thatch buildup that can be damaging to a lawn's health.
 
Since it provides more gentle, less aggressive action than a power rake, it can be used as a preventative maintenance tool each time the lawn is mowed.

The Thatcher arrived earlier than scheduled. The assembly was a bit difficult due to less than well detailed instructions and parts list. Luckily I have a wife that is willing to get dirty and help. Once assembled and mounted this device worked out great. It did a good job of removing the thatch but not destroying the lawn in the process. I think that I will need to make another pass, or two to get rid of all of my thatch and moss. I am pleased. Ed

Solid Product
Unit is more robust than other units I've seen. Looking forward to many years of use.
