John Deere 42-inch Mower Deck Drive Belt and Idler Kit

The number one cause of repeat deck belt failure is frozen bearings in the idler pulleys. This Mower Deck Drive Belt and Idler Kit contains most everything that you will need to replace the drive belt and idler pulleys.
 
Kit includes:
  • (1) GX20072 belt
  • (1) GY22172 2-3/4-inch idler pulley
  • (1) GY20629 4-1/2-inch idler pulley
  • (2) 14M7400 idler lock nuts

    I had my idler seize and needed to replace it. Since my L108 was 9 years old it was time to replace the belt also, (not to mention the damage the seized idler did to it). This kit was great as it included the large and small idler AND the belt. I needed to order a few extra parts which held the idler as the threads were ruined when the idler gave out also but they were only a few bucks in total.The parts came quickly (I ordered 2 day air) and fit like a glove. I will use the Green Part Store exclusively for all my John Deere parts from now on. I think I found a great place to order my supplies!!
