John Deere 48-inch Deck Leaf Bagging Blow Out Kit

Kit improves mower's vacuum performance for better collection of leaves and dry grass.

The leaf bagging kit for the 48-inch Edge deck reduces leaf blowout when using a rear bagger to collect leaves. It can also be used to reduce blowout when mowing dry grass. However, removal of the kit when mowing higher-moisture grass may be desirable as it decreases the cut quality slightly.
 
Each leaf bagging kit includes a front and left-side baffle and attaching hardware.

Bagging Blowout Kit
I have only used the mower once since I installed it, but it worked great. I used to have to go over the lawn several times with the deck set very low to pick up all the debris. Now I mow ofer it once and it is all in the bag instead of scattered all over in front of the mower. Too bad JD didn't just design the deck this way.
