Description

John Deere 50-lb Plastic-Shell Rear Wheel Weight Kit

One 50-lb plastic-shell rear wheel weight may be installed on each rear wheel to provide extra traction and stability.
 
The outer shell is molded of tough polyethylene plastic filled with a heavy granular material that contains a high iron percentage. A bonding substance is added to hold the material together so that it will remain intact, even if the shell is damaged.
 
Multiple stacking is not recommended.
 
Overall width of the tractor will be increased by approximately 2 in. (51 mm) when weights are installed.
 
For 23x10.5-12 and 24x12-12 tires in narrow position only.

When used on models 425, 445 and 455 fits 2-wheel steer only
 
Weights are packaged one per carton, with necessary hardware for installation on a wheel.

Standard hardware does fit 2019 1025R Rear Tires
Hi, My new JD wheel weights arrived quickly and intact. Unfortunately the hardware to install these does NOT fit the rear wheel for my 2019 1025R. The instructions tell you the alternate hardware you need to buy separately which is disappointing. GreenPartStore should change the product description to inform other 1025R owners.

The wheel weights fit great. Price, shipping and delivery were wonderful..received the weights almost the next day. What I had/have issues with were the installation instructions provided by Deere. I have a 1023E configured with R4 tires/rims. Nowhere in the instructions does it refer to a "1 Series" tractor nor provide the dimensions for the aforementioned tire/rim configuration. Once the correct length of the installation all-thread was determined, installation was easy.
