Nut Twister
Ok, it is just a nut, but a nut I couldn't find at the big box stores. If you need a replacement 5/8-18 nut for your John Deere, then call these guys.

The nut will only hand tighten a few rotations, then it starts locking on and you need a wrench. I thought I had the wrong part. I was wrong, just start cranking. Guys we're great on the phone.

Needed it
Turns out that the splines on the shaft of the old spindle assembly had chewed up both the blade retaining nut and the washer (M149625)(and the blade) which made recovery for reuse impossible. Glad I picked these up.

Perfect Fit
Perfect Fit for C155 with new bearing unit for blades. Note, I had to replace the bearing unit. This part did not match my stock bearing set. Ensure you replace all components.
