John Deere 7-bushel Hopper for MCS


The 7-bushel hopper provides an efficient means of collecting grass clippings and leaves using either the cut-and-throw rear bagger or the Power Flow material collection system (MCS). Chute and/or blower not included
 
The hopper design provides modern styling, great bagging performance, cleaner operation, and easy-to-empty bags.
 
The 7-bushel MCS features:
  • 7-bushel capacity
  • Easy-to-attach lower chute (ordered separately) 
  • Handle on chute 
  • Air exhaust duct 
  • Convenient spring-latch 
  • Airflow fill indicator 
  • Quik-Tatch mounting 
  • Sealed hopper top 
Requires Appropriate Rear Bagger Chute and or blower assembly. Front ballast recommended, especially on hills or inclines. Order as required

Bagger Assembly came quickly and was a complete and full replacement for the original. Now modifications required, drop in and go. Took about 30 minutes to remove the old and replace. Very pleased.

Everything was easy to attach to the mower frame except the lower chute. It's so stiff, I found it impossible to attach per the directions. Maybe that's why there are no videos or better illustrations. I had to take the bagger back off, attach the chute to the deck and then to the bagger. Very frustrating but it works better that way instead of the directions in the manual.
