AHW has a great price on this filter/filter housing replacement kit. My local dealer quoted me over $207 for this kit. It is an easy install (change-out) from the old engine-mounted housing. RELOCATION
After hearing about catastrophic engine damage, I felt it time to relocate the air filter assembly. 15 minute install! I feel better now. Great price, too.

Good idea
It took me about 20 minutes to install it. I wish I had done it long ago. It cleaned the engine compartment up considerably. Don't have to worry about the filter bracket breaking anymore or worse, cracking the valve cover.

Air kit update
Perfect! My 1025 was not in the serial list for dealer replacement. However, I found the old bracket was loose and removed it to check for damage. All good now for the long haul. Kit was precise and easy to mount.

Green tractor owner
In less than 30 minutes I had replaced the old air cleaner mounted on the engine (subject to a LOT of vibrations and cracking either the hold-down bracket or worse, the intake cover) with one mounted on the frame instead - as Deere changed a few years after this version. Deere did NOT include any instructions, but it was rather self-evident what goes where. I found the TTWT video and confirmed everything I did was correctly done. It COULD be better if they included installation instructions to make sure.
