John Deere Anti-Blowout Grass Kit - AM133765

I was almost ready to sell my Z425 due to the amount of trash the mowing deck kicked up while mowing. I seen the blow back kit while ordering blades and thought what the hell, we will give it a try. MAN what a difference it made. Best money I have spent in a long time. Not sure why it doesn't come standard on the mower, but now I enjoy my mower more than ever.

I have owned my z425 zero turn mower for 3 years and have literally been covered from head to toe after cutting my 2 1/2 acres of grass. Then after surfing the internet I stumbled upon this blow back kit that john deere has came up with. Being a little hesitant I thought I'd give it a try ( I had nothing to loose at this point). To my surprise this kit works absolutely perfect. Even while cutting up leaves. I'm totally impressed. John Deere should not sell another " Z" mower without this kit. I LOVE IT!!!!

So far this is working great! In the past my Z425 would blow massive amounts of clippings out the front of the deck. The deck would be covered inches thick and so would I. I mow at the highest setting. With this kit I get almost no blowback from under the deck and if there is no wind I finish the mow with almost no clippings on me!

Plates are steel. Seems to work well on leaves a lot less dirt in the face. Waiting on spring to try on grass .

Had a lot of blow out in front of deck that covered me and the mower in grass and dust in minutes.. This kit reduced it by 90 percent easy. It doesnt look like it would work but the engineers know what they are doing.. Now why didn't they install this from the factory like the 62hc deck...

I have owned my zero turn for a few years, right from the beginning I was disappointed in the amount of dirt and dust blowing up in my face. I had gone back to were I bought it and they just told me that was the nature of the beast. I was literally days away from trading it in when I heard about this kit , I figured it was worth the investment to see if it would work . It came in a couple of days , it mounted on the mower in minutes and holy cow ! It was the difference between night and day . A home run !
