JD 111 Brake Pads
The '85 JD 111 still had original pads, weren't that worn but brakes slipped. New pads seem to be upgraded to better material that offers more friction and definitly hold better. Old pads were very hard and slipped - maybe just age.

mechanic
nobody else had these parts, even JD said it was no longer available. Granted, they don't go bad often and I'm sure they don't sell many, but when you need brakes, then you need brakes. There is no substitute. What's worse that a machine that won't start? One that won't stop !

Stx38 brake pads
Purchased this brake pads to fix my JD Stx38 yellow deck. A little bit small compared to the original brake pads. But works well for me. Good service from greenpartstore.com. thank you
