I bought this item to change out the oil filter on my Deere Z445. It does NOT fit between the oil filter and the engine housing. The Z445 oil filter location is impossible to get to. A very poor design in my opinion.

Great Part, Great Value
Reached the oil filter on a X738 without a problem and kept my hands away from a hot engine. I initially thought it was too large but then realized it had to be shoved onto the filter a bit further (it has two different diameter gripping points inside). Really wish JD provided this handy tool with all garden/lawn tractors!
