Great upgrade for an old tractor
After much research, I bought this for my 1985 JD 210, even though it is not listed as a recommended replacement. But the 8.25x5" bolt hole spacing is the same as the original, and it works really well. The high back and firm cushion make it VERY comfortable for my large, rough yard & aging spine. It's very well made, with durable metal pan & tough vinyl. The seat grooves and 2 grommeted drain holes are a real plus. For you JD junkies, the brand is embossed into the vinyl, but there is no JD decal or plate on the metal back, as your original probably had. Will you care? Not after you ride in it.

john deere high-back seat
this is a really great seat for the price, it has a real nice thick padded cushion that is really comfortable. the only con. is it do not have the john deere emblem on the back of it like my old seat had.

Replacement seat
This is a very nice replacement seat I used on my 318. The quality is great but deere did cheap out on the factory deere sticker that belongs on the back of the seat.

Better Seat
I purchased the high-back seat as a replacement for the low-back seat that was originally supplied on my Model 165 tractor. The bolt pattern is the same, but the original seat is fastened with (4) 5/16"-18 x 3/4" bolts and the high-back seat is fastened with (4) 3/8"-16 x 3/4" bolts. So, you will have to drill out the mounting holes. The high-back seat is a significant improvement and once you use it, you will never go back to the original seat. Great product, just wish that I had purchased it sooner.

Jack of many trades, good at some, not so with others
This is a very nicely padded seat. The high back is just what this tired old back of mine needed. In fact, this is the second of these seats I've purchased. I have one on my JD 322, and I'm making a bracket to mount the new one on my Simplicity Landlord.

Replacement seat
I purchased this replacement seat for my husbands John Deere tractor model 170. It is great quality & very comfortable compared to the low seat version. The bolt pattern matched up but we had to drill bigger holes & use larger bolts. We are very satisfied with our purchase.
