At first there was some confusion as to whether or not the double bucket holder would fit my 2011 X530. But after further research we found out it would. The JD logo 5 gallon buckets are flawless and are the nicest looking buckets I've ever seen lol. The metal bracket is very well made. The welds are perfect and the black powder coat looks incredible for a tractor accessory. The mounting system is a well thought out design and the entire assembly can be installed or removed in under 30 seconds without any tools. The only discrepancy I found was in the mounting directions. JD says to use the smaller pins in the second hole on the support arms to mount it to the machine. But on my 2011 X530 I had to use the 1/2" diameter pins in the last hole to mount the bracket. Besides that I've been using it almost continually since it arrived. I was kind of surprised at how useful having 2 buckets hanging off the back of my tractor really is. I never realized just how much stuff I'm always carrying with me on the tractor. If your hesitating about buying this product I would say just pull the trigger and get it. You will probably end up using it constantly like I am. Green parts store is my go to place for all my JD parts and accessories. They're prices are the best around and they ship my orders very fast. I've been buying from them for a few years now and I honestly can't remember ever having a problem. Kudos to all the people working at GPS!

Works fine. Any 5 gallon bucket will fit. Would not recommend the JD bucket, go to Firehouse Subs and buy their empty bucket for $2. Much better bucket and fits just the same

Bought this kit so that I had somewhere to put tools and garbage during yardwork. It is very heavy duty and everything fits perfectly. I had read that the kit interferes with the hitch due to the size of the buckets so I purchased 3 gal buckets instead. Unfortunately the interference issue is related to the mounting kit which uses the hitch 'hole' to secure the lower brace. I suppose I could dremel out a new place on the hitch plate for the lower brace but the hitch plate looks pretty thick and I'm sure my dremel would not be up to the task. Also, I'm not crazy about drilling holes in a $4.5K brand new tractor. Aside from the minor stupidity on my part, I'm quite happy with the kit and will just have to disconnect it when using tow behind accessories. The disconnect process is very simple and takes only a matter of seconds...

Wouldn't fit the X738. A simple modification by drilling 2 new holes and lining up the support bracket took care of it. Works great very happy with it.

When the unit arrived, it was missing one of the side brackets. I called Green Part Store customer service and explained the problem. They contacted the supplier and they shipped the missing part and I received it two days later. The bucket holder was easy to assemble and install. I appreciate the quick and courteous service of the Green Parts Store and their supplier. I wish all suppliers were this good.
