LX279 owner
After 10 years of use the original pulley finally went bad. The new one arrived in short order and it took all of about 60 seconds to get it installed. The new pulley looks to be of high quality. It's been in use now for about two hours and so far so good. No poroblems.

Don't waste $$ on Stens Parts Buy OEM
I have purchased various pulleys over the years, mostly Stens aftermarket. They don't hold up or sometimes fit. Buy this Genuine John Deere part and you will avoid problems with fit and service life.
