OEM part. This part had gotten slightly twisted and bent over many years of mower use. Replacing it made a big difference in being able to truly level the deck and get a nice cut. Replacing the deck wheels can also help achieve a good cut, but they are made to help prevent scalping but are not a good substitute for proper leveling of the deck from the hangers.

Nice Part
The original front drag rod on my LX176 was nicely bent, thanks to careless handling of the tractor by a jabrony known as Wreck It Ralph. This kit did a very nice job in replacing the original and holds the deck in place very nicely.

Thanks to Pat and John, I ordered this kit on Monday for my 265, 1994 John Deere, received it on Wednesday, had it installed on Thursday and cutting grass. This kit replaced my broken rod kit.
