Wheel bearings
These ball bearing replacements for the original bronze bushings fit properly and were easy to install, resulting in no binding. I have not used the mower significantly yet, but feel that they will be good for a few seasons. Because of the small hub size of the wheels, the bearings have to be small and, therefore, are not as robust as needed for this application. I had to replace the spindles because the original bushings run on the spindle shaft and there was significant wear. When I have to replace these ball bearings, there should be no wear to the spindles.

Jack of all trades...
After changing the bushings on my L120 mower with these bearings I can only wonder why anybody would NOT want to do this on their John Deere. It's THAT easy and affordable.

Wheel Bearings
The spindle on my Scott Lawn Tractor has worn out and the bushing were not fitting right. I ordered these bearing to replace the bushings, welded the spindle and used a grinder to reshape to round. Install bearing and everything is fine. The spindle could not be replace without replacing the whole axle for $175. $20 for bearing and a little welding fixed it for me.

Worked fine. Removed inner seal so it could be greased, pressed in place and was back in business in about an hour.
