Gas cap JD 317
Fits perfectly but doesn't read gas Level correctly. My gas tank has a long filler neck witch causes it to read wrong. Maybe my gas tank is not original I don't know

This cap fits thread wise but is too short. if you want it to work on a 317 or 318 it will not tell you how much fuel you have. Other than that it keeps gas in and water out so that is why it gets three stars and not five.

Fast Service, JD original...will work fine...GPS is good, but John Deere makes these to be replaced every few years...they deteriorate and crack.

When the cap is turned on to the spout, the fuel indicator is off 90 degrees. Another word you have to look at it sideways. Other than that it is OK but disappointed in that.
