John Deere Gas Operated Cylinder - AM133368

This part is not only a perfect fit, it's a better made part than the original. It's also made in the USA. There were four different hydrostat shift linkage designs during the 430s run. The serial numbers for the 430s reset to beginning with zeros in 1990, which is confusing. However, my parts catalog shows all of the designs and what is shown in the manual for my serial number is exactly what is on my 430. I haven't installed it yet, but I'm pretty sure the original is worn out after 2400 hours. The shifting from forward to reverse and taking off from a standstill is jerky. I hope this will fix it, if not it likely means there are some rounded out link ends or links out of adjustment.
