Description

John Deere High-Performance MCS Blower Assembly

Only for 48C/48X mower decks with rotatable anti-scalp wheels (X300/X500 M-T/X700)

A high-performance Power Flow blower assembly is used with the 48-in. (122-cm) mower:

Features:
  • Blower is hinged to provide easy installation.
  • Blower is easy to swing out for easy cleanout. 
  • The blower fan runs in a clockwise direction (viewed from the right side) to efficiently move material up the chute. 
  • The high-performance blower will work well with either the standard mower blades or the mulching blades.
Note: For 48C and 48X Mower Decks. For use with model year 2006 X320 (serial numbers 010001-040000), X324 (serial numbers 010001-040000), model X500 M-T Tractor (serial numbers 010001-020000), model years 2008 and later X320 (serial numbers 085001-), X324 (serial numbers 085001-), X500 (serial numbers 030001-), and X360. Also for use with SKU21895 (48X with rotatable anti-scalp wheels) cartoned deck.

Note: When used on SST, LX, GT, or GX tractors, also order one M147451 shield mounting wireform and one AM131219 front mounting bracket.

Note: When used on X400/X500 HDGT or X700 Tractors with 48C/48X deck (serial numbers -050588),  a BM20976 48C/48X high-performance blower assembly adapter kit is required but is no longer available. Please do not order

Blower
Blower works great! Blower was a replacement for the old one that was just worn out from use and lack of cleaning.

Retired
Works well. The amount of leaves and grass clippings fill up the bags quickly so I have to stop after two or three passes to empty the bags. Only issue is the exit door is either built too flimsy or the spring is too strong. Door is warped after leaning against the chute.
