John Deere Idler Arm - GY20146

This part had broken on my 13 year old John Deere mower (so this was my last stop and last chance when searching for a new idler arm). Order department contacted me the next day and suggested a slightly different idler arm from the one I ordered (based on my mower's serial number). I agreed, and the part arrived in just a few days. The part fit perfectly, and I have since mowed my 1 acer lawn twice with no issues. One point to note, this is just the idler arm. If you need the bolt that holds the pulley on, the idler arm spring or the washer that fits in center hole, you will need to order those separately. Thanks for the prompt service! Kent

This worked as original, that being said. I cut off the jump guards, this is where the belt catches and breaks. Then I bent the bracket to the same angle as the new John Deere brackets of brand new lawn mowers. Now it works perfectly.

The bolt on the bracket for the pulley doesn't come with a nut.
