John Deere Leaf Bagging Blowout Kit 54C Deck - BM20985

I installed this kit in under thirty minutes. Everything was included and the instructions easy to read and follow. I cant believe how much of a difference while bagging leaves and mowing in general. I don't know why John Deere doesn't put this kit on from the get go. No more blow out on the front of the mower deck means less time to finish jobs. If you don't have this kit installed you need to buy it and see the difference for yourself!

I thought I made a mistake when I bought a 3pt hitch leaf bagging system with it't own 5 hp. motor. Only about 60% of the leaves went up the chute, the rest just blew around. This kit made all the difference in the world, now the bagging system works as I imagined it would. I bought the bagging system on Craigslist, so I don't know if the blowout kit came with it originally, if not, it should have. Installation was very simple, about a half hour as previous reviewer said.

All I can say is wow, what a difference in performance! This kit has virtually eliminated all the blowout I was dealing with when bagging and mowing in general. Even with the deck on a high setting, I still had very little to no blowout! Before I had this kit, the grille of my tractor (2305) would always be covered with grass and leaves. I don't have that problem anymore! It is easy to install, and it is saving me time when bagging. Worth the price!

I was disappointed in how the 54" deck with powerfllow blew leaves out of the front. This kit went on easily and solved the problem. Probably should have come standard with the deck

I was experiencing blow out even with Power Flow. I installed the Blow out kit in less than 20 minutes. No more blow out! Very good product.No drilling needed

I have quite a leafy/hilly yard. Fall clean up is a chore and a half. Last year I purchased the power flow and 18 bushel bagger set up. Worked. Not as I had imagined though. This year I put high lift blades and this leaf blowout kit on.Wow! An extreme difference. First it evenly distributes into the bagger( I think that’s the blades) and it picks up the leaves, very well. It’s not like a vacuum but more like one. It collects a lot, and fast. Keep an eye on the bagger, it’s gonna fill up quicker than you think. DO NOT blow them into a pile and run them over. It will plug up the power flow. 1/4 measures when going into a pile of leaves or spread things out more. Fantastic product. Will not work with mulching blades and mulching baffles.
