John Deere Multi-Purpose HD Lithium Complex Grease


This is the grease of choice by John Deere in new Ag equipment.

Applications:
  • High-temperature and extreme-pressure grease
  • -15 to 350°F (-26 to 177°C)
  • Heavy-duty, long-lasting grease
  • High-quality grease in heavy-duty applications where lithium greases are recommended or preferred
  • For wheel bearings, universal joints, suspension systems, ball joints, and anti-friction plain bearings
  • A very good multi-purpose grease
Service ratings:
  • Meets equipment manufacturers’ extended service interval
  • NLGI grade 2
  • JDM J13C3, J13C3A, and J13C6
  • GC-LB
Physical properties:
  • Amber color
  • Lithium-complex thickened
  • Formulated to prevent corrosion and water washout

Good Grease
The grease appears good, however only one of the four tubes I received was in good condition. Three of them have dents at the ends that have the metal rings. I hope it won't affect how the tubes seal against the rubber seat in the head of the gun. I installed the one good tube and it works fine. I will try to make the other tubes' metal ends as round as possible and hope they seal.

Works Great!
I purchased it since John Deere said to use it on my S240 mower and it works great. Keeps the steering lubed and as easy to turn as the day I bought it and imagine it is working just as well on the mowing deck. Easy to use in my grease gun and easy to clean up as well. Will be the only grease I use from now on.

Excellent grease
I have used this grease for a long time in the past and it always did well as a lubricant. I ordered 2 tubes and they came promptly. The black caps were secured with some tape and that made the tubes leakproof.

Received a carton of lube tubes for use on my E120, due to Covid-19, delays were expected. However, I still received my product faster than any other retailer.
