John Deere Plow Wings 18-inch Snow Blade Extension Kit

John Deere Approved Snow Plow Extensions for the 54-inch Front Blade, essentially making a usable 72-inch blade. The wider blade can be used for snow removal/clearing for larger driveways and even, commercial clearing. The Plow Extensions offer a quick and affordable way to increase the effective width of the front blade for snow clearing.

For use in the snow removal application on the X400/X500 HDGT’s, X700’s and Series 1 and 2 CUTs. Not compatible with the 60" Blade (BLV10047

Great part and fit very heavy duty, I would also recommend that when this part is added that you buy the 6’ 1 piece wear blade instead of using the 4 piece bar( 2 from your previous one that comes on your blade then the 2 that come on the new wings) it makes it even more sturdy and durable, I purchased mine on eBay

Increasing width of my 54 inch snow plow.
The wings were made very good. They were heavy steel that matched the existing plow. Th wings fit perfect and it took me about 40 minutes to install the wings. Now I'm just waiting for snow to plow.

Super nice design. Fit perfectly. Kit calls for a 13/32 drill bit. In all my many kits of bits it is missing. Had to buy 2 to complete. Had several spots where the paint had been rubbed through or was light. I will have to touch that up. I am buying the 72" plastic ware bar for heavyhitch as that is what i used on the 54 with better than oem results. Does add a bit of weight to the blade if you are used to carrying it around. Color matched perfect. Looking forward to some snow.
