John Deere 6.5-bushel Bagger Hopper and Chute for 100 Series with 48-inch Mower - BG20777

Quality John Deere Product at a good price (got the fall discount). I mounted it to a legacy L120 John Deere tractor with a 48" deck. Required one hole to be drilled for the boot pin to fit. A template is included in the instructions for this. The high lift blades included are for newer models with the single star hole in the center. I asked for these blades to be switched out for high lift blades compatible with my L120. I still got sent the blades which do not fit my model. I sold them separately and bought the correct high lift blades for my L120. The bagger works very well. I have had no issues with the chute clogging unless I did not notice the bags got full. It is a smaller volume bagger and does require frequent emptying, especially with long grass and leaves. If you are looking for a high volume model, I would go with a towable system. I was looking for a non-towable option, so this is pretty much the only manufacturer option for 100 series 48" decks. Overall, quality product, works well with high lift blades, just requires frequent emptying.

Used the bagger twice and it worked well. Chute does get clogged if grass is heavy or damp. Best to use it when grass is dry. Bags could be bigger, plan to empty them often.
