John Deere Rear Work Light Kit

  • One 55-W halogen light provides superb visibility for nighttime operation:
  • Especially useful for working around properties and job sites
  • Sturdy design allows the Gator™ to be hauled on a trailer forward or backward at highway speeds with the lights installed
  • Light assembly bolts to the rear of the cab frame, creating a consistent lighting pattern
  • Convenient overhead-mounted on/off rocker switch enables easy operation
  • As with all Gator electrical kits, the light kit ties into the vehicle's wiring harness for quick installation

Compatible with the following vehicles:
  • All Gator model year 2011-current XUV 625i, XUV 825i, XUV 855D, and M-Gator™ A2 Utility Vehicles when equipped with a deluxe cab frame and electrical kit
  • All Gator HPX model year 2004 to current, XUV 620i, and XUV 850D Utility Vehicles when equipped with a deluxe cab frame and electrical kit
  • Traditional Series—TS, TX, TX Turf, and TH 6x4—when equipped with a soft-door or hard-door cab and electrical kit
  • M-Gator™ A1 when equipped with a hard-door cab and electrical kit

Nice Light
The light kit is for the Deluxe Cab only. The kit is plug and play as advertised. You will certainly use it at night for work, but more often you'll use it as an enhanced back up light. JD accessories are not cheap. But the build quality and attention to installation configuration means it isn't a rip off either. Some of the price reflects small batch production. When installed, it looks "factory". One thing the web sites or instructions don't ever say is what type of replacement bulb. This light takes a standard H1 automotive headlight bulb. Two screws and you're in. I would recommend JD add a rubber washer for the pass through cable seal. I haven't noticed any seepage yet, but hope I don't have to retrofit as you'll have to cut and resolder the cable to do so. Built stout, solidly mounted, easy access switch on the head panel. Nice addition.
