This rubber latch strap is an original OEM part. I drilled out the rivet in about 30 seconds, reused the small U shaped bracket and installed a 1/4" x 1.25" bolt with washers and a lock nut. Works like a charm!

Item is just what I need and came quickly. Have not been able to install it as replacement requires removing a rivet which I did not initially realize was the mode of attachment.

Latch Strap
Original OEM part. I didn't realize it did not come with the rivet, but no worries, I reused the small U shaped bracket and installed a bolt with washers. So, order the rivet if you want it...lol Very pleased!

Exact OEM replacement. Received even earlier than promised. Great price! Dremel Moto Tool with cut-off wheel made quick work of factory attachment rivet. Installed new latch with 1/4-20 bolt and Nyloc nut.

Original held in place by rivet. You will need a new rivet or bolt and locknut.

This item takes a beating I'm actually surprised it lasts as long as it does. Although it is a quality made part I have to replace it about every 2 or 3 years, and that's just around the house mowing my 3/4 acre yard.
