I looked for a front bumper from the John Deere dealers and all that they had was a front bumper that you needed to pull the pins on that cost $128.00. I wanted a bumper that was easy to get at because I check the oil when I use the mower. I was very happy to find this bumper that fit right on my X530. No pins to pull and looks great. Thanks again.

Part came quickly. Fits easily on X300 and will hopefully save me from damaging the front end.

I ordered this bumper from Greenpartstore.com and had it in hand two days later. Assembly and installation are a five-minute job. Hint: if the end caps are not fitting in the ends easily, put them upside-down on the floor and push the bumper onto them to allow your body weight to do the work. I have the 44" snowblower attachment on my tractor right now and this bumper fits without interference. As others have noted, this bumper should really come in handy when parking in the shed and mowing near fences and trees. It's a good piece of insurance to buy so you don't crack your pricey green tractor hood.

This bumper attachment looks like it belongs on my tractor and gives me piece of mind as protection for the plastic front end pieces down low. End caps for tubs are a struggle to install unless they are warmed up with hot water to make them pliable.

Nice quality item that adds a bit of dimension to the front of the mower.
