John Deere Transmission Shift Cable - GC90045

After nearly 9 yrs of use, my original cable broke at the plastic shifter. My fault since I did not keep the cable lubed up yearly. Got hard to shift and the internal plastic quadrant broke. The new cable shifts smoothly and I put some cable lube on it during installation for a long life. Good quality and price.

Replacement was a perfect fit - no issues. Old part cracked where the drive cable went through. Glad this part was available at a very reasonable price. Thanks for great service and nice web listing.

Much older John Deere walk-behind JS63 has been around for sometime and still going strong. Speed control lever snapped; usually try to fix things myself so checked green part store and they had what I needed at a reasonable price. Ordered one day and it was delivered a few days later. Part is exactly what I needed to keep JD on-the-move. Took about 45 minutes to replace and on-the-move JD went. Harder to remove the old part than to install the new one! You will need a couple of new zip ties to secure the throttle and transmission cables.
