John Deere Trash Receptacle Kit

The trash receptacle kit provides mounting for 5-gal. bucket and trash-grabbing apparatus (not included). It enables trash pickup and storage without having to leave the mower seat.
 
The kit also keeps the bucket out of the way and away from the trim side of mower. The bucket attaches quickly and easily with purchased elastic straps.

The concept is great, however the execution is not great. The 5 gallon bucket bounces out when you are mowing rough terrain. Unfortunately most of the yards I mow will bounce the bucket out of the container. The only option I have found is to put a brick in the bucket. Not a great option imo.

The trash kit is actually a heavy bracket and includes three longer bolts to replace those on the mower. Installation is easy. Larger mowers, my 950m actually need 4 bolts but one of the original bolts can be reused. The bracket holds a large bucket but it needs to be secured to the bracket. Holes for screws are already punched in the bracket but no screws are provided.
