John Deere TriCycler Mulch Kit 48-inch Deck - BM19918

Parts came on time and everything installed as expected. Was able to install myself with the instructions that came with the part set. I’m very happy with the performance of this mulching kit.

A little expensive, but fit perfect and works as it should. I think this should be priced more around the $180-$200 mark. I do not see a $280 difference in the way my grass clippings are mulched as compared to a simple fabricated curved cover on the inside of the chute on the right hand side of the deck. I am still currently using the 2 year old freshly sharpened gator mulching blades. I will be switching to the stock blades provided with the kit this next mow to see if I see a significant difference in the clippings size. But with the Gator blades the clippings were not any smaller using this kit than my fabricated plate I had been using. The clippings are just a LITTLE better dispersed over the mow path than with the plate. Mower does bog down as you would expect when going through thick heavy grass so be sure to adhere to maximum cut and walk the height down if the grass heights gets away from you. Its spring here in Michigan so I have to mow every 3 days so I will update the review (if I can) after I have mowed with the blades that came with the kit.

Easy to install and works great. GreenPartStore has great fast service. They even double checked that I was purchasing the correct mulcher for my deck. Thanks and will be ordering more in the future from them.
