Part received is part ordered. received on time. Used on LX176, 23-year old mower. Was pretty sure it was the problem causing the battery charging light to remain on, although it may have been the voltage regulator, stator, etc. Replaced it, which was somewhat tedious. Therefore, do not hurry-take your time. Due to corrosion with age on the old part, would recommend replacing this part prior to doing other more-expensive repairs (voltage regulator, etc.) to an older mower as those things may not be the problem.

I had a "discount" voltage regulator go bad and it burned the connector up pretty well. I was happy to find this part to repair it. I'm an electrician, so terminating wires is super simple for me. New connector works exactly as it should, along with the new "premium" regulator from John Deere.
