What is our return policy? (Please read all fields before returning an item) 
 
We stand behind the quality of our products. The original purchaser may return any item under $500 unless otherwise specified in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of the original ship date. Upon receipt of the returned parts, we will refund your original method of payment, excluding delivery charges and expedited processing fees If a part is returned after the 30-day window, we will return them to you at your expense or dispose of them for you. 


High Value (Over $500) John Deere Items These items require approval to be returned. In the event you need to return a John Deere item over $500, please contact us via phone or email to receive authorization. These parts are subject to restocking fees and return shipping that varies from product-to-product. Returning an item over $500 without authorization will result in additional handling and can be denied. High Value (Over $500) NON–John Deere Items Due to the volatility of outside vendors, pricing, and policies, Green Part Store does not accept the return of these items.


Expedited Processing Fees are non-refundable in most cases. Since this fee speeds up ordering your part into stock if it is not readily available, in the event of a cancellation or return by the consumer, typically a part has already been ordered, and the expense has been incurred by Green Parts Store. To see if your fee is refundable, you will need to contact our customer service team directly.  

 

Special Order Items Occasionally parts need to be ordered that were not stocked by our dealership chain. In the event a part on your order qualifies as a special-order item, we will make two attempts to contact you to confirm the necessity of the part and to inform you of a 30% restocking fee for these items. If we are unable to reach you after the second attempt, the item will be shipped as ordered. Should you need to return a special-order item, the 30% restocking fee will apply and our standard 30-day return policy remains in effect.  

 

Used Items are non-returnable, if there is any additional info needed or clarification during install, please reach out to us at that time. When an item is returned used, we will return them to you at your expense or dispose of them for you. 

 

 

Defects/Warranty If you receive a defective product or have received the wrong part because of an error on our behalf, we will exchange it or issue a refund for the parts and shipping charges. If you prefer, we will replace any item or issue you a full refund. If we have made a mistake, we will also refund the shipping. After the 30-day period all warranty issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We offer no warranty over or above manufacturer warranties. Per industry standards electrical components that have been installed are not returnable. John Deere parts carry a 6-month warranty against defects in material or workmanship. Parts damaged due to improper installation or use are not warrantable. Please contact us for warranty consideration. 
 
Country of Origin of a part is not a warrantable or returnable cause. Every John Deere part we sell at Green Part Store is an OEM part sourced directly from John Deere. John Deere at times sources parts from countries around the globe. AHW LLC and GreenPartStore.com have no control over and therefore make no guarantees or warranties if a parts country of origin is not a country of your choice. Parts made in these countries are still required to meet the stringent requirements of John Deere Product Engineers. 
 
How do you return an item? 
 
To return a part for a refund or exchange, please complete and submit this return authorization form, including the original order number. Send the form along with the return items back to the address on the form. It is that easy! 
 
For orders that were received with an error or damaged merchandise: Send us a feedback form explaining the situation. We will reply with our return department shipping address along with shipping instructions, by e-mail.  

 

On orders with shortages: we will ship the shorted items as soon as possible.  

 

On orders with damaged goods: please explain the damage and your best estimate as to what caused the damage. If you receive a package that has obvious handling damage, retain all shipping materials and please call the shipper as soon as possible. For UPS call 1-800-742-5877. Please do not send it back unless we request that you do so. UPS will pay for some items if they damage them in shipment, but they will only do so at the receiver's address. On damaged items we will let you know what to do with them. If we need them returned, we will pay for the shipping, however only on items that we request be returned.

Green Parts Store reserves the right to deny a return/credit as well as charge a restocking fee at any time for reasons not listed above   


Shipping Policy:
 
We at GreenPartStore.com will do everything in our power to ship your order in a timely manner.  On average, orders are shipped within 1 - 2 business days (Monday thru Friday) after the order is placed. During peak Spring/Summer order season shipments may be delayed a day or two due to outstanding demand. Please order well in advance of date that the item is needed by. Remember UPS only delivers Monday thru Friday unless special arrangements are made.
 
Orders ship from our web site warehouse at 1753 N State Rt 1., Watseka IL 60970.

Our system is set up to minimize back orders. However, if this occurs, the long term back ordered item will be deleted from the order and a credit will be issued to the original method of payment. Out of stock items will be ordered from John Deere and will require 3-4 days turn-a-round time. 

Availability: Usually available.  What does this mean? While we keep a substantial inventory of John Deere parts on hand in our two large warehouses, no dealership can keep every part on hand at all times. We draw from our own extensive supply plus the inventories of our 16 brick and mortar John Deere dealership locations. We are also located within 3 hours of the largest John Deere parts warehouse in the world which provide to us overnight delivery 5 days a week. Usually available means that the parts on our site were available from one of these sources at the time the part was added to our web site. If not in stock these parts are available to ship as a rule within 1 to 2 business days of the date of order. 

 
Our preferred shipper is a new, more affordable, shipping method, UPS SurePost. UPS 
SurePost is a partnership between UPS and the USPS that they call UPS SurePost. With UPS SurePost packages are picked up by UPS at the end of our shipping day along with the UPS packages. UPS processes the packages along with the other Ground packages and transports them to your Post Office for final delivery by US postal workers. This new low cost shipping method is only available to high volume shippers like GreenPartStore.com.  The savings normally range from $2.00 to $4.00 less expensive than UPS Ground. *Some restrictions apply.

*Order must weigh less than 10 lbs. UPS SurePost will only show as a shipping option if your total order weight is less than 10 lbs.
*Time in transit is normally 1 day longer than UPS ground.

You can also choose from a variety of other UPS options. UPS Ground Residential, which will deliver your package 1-5 business days after it ships. To see a UPS Ground Time-in-Transit map click hereUPS 3-day select is the 3-business days after ship day option. UPS 2nd day air service will deliver your package 2 business days after the day the order ships. UPS next day air gets your package to you the first business day after it ships. Please remember to add a day or two to these delivery times to allow for order processing.

These shipping times are for examples only. Be aware that the day the item ships, does not count.  2nd day means 2 business days after the day the order is shipped. The day the item ships depends on the volume of orders and the availability of product. It is best to plan ahead so that you receive your orders well in advance of the event they are ordered for. Please note that our shipper pickup time is normally around 4:00 pm Central Time each day. Orders placed after 2:00 pm will probably ship the next day.

Our second shipping option is USPS Priority Mail. USPS, Priority Mail now offers detailed tracking. Packages now receive up to 11 scans during the delivery process. We do not recommend Priority Mail or any USPS shipping option for any order that is of a time sensitive nature.

Please note: ORMD products which include all aerosol containers as well as other hazardous products are not allowed to be shipped by Premium UPS shipping methods which include 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air or any International shipping method.
 
Please note: GreenPartStore.com makes no shipping guarantees other than those advertised by our shippers. Please send us an e-mail with details explaining any claim you may wish to pursue. We will file the claim with the shipper for you.

Per our contract with John Deere Company, we are not permitted to ship orders outside of the United States.

Taxes:
 
We charge sales tax as required by law. If you have a sales tax exemption please create an account and contact us with your sales tax exemption certificate or other appropriate documentation before placing order. When placing an order on-line, all information is submitted through a secure server. All sensitive information like credit card numbers is encrypted for your protection.
