John Deere 25 Gallon Click-n-Go Mounted Sprayer - LP22862

I have yet to use the sprayer but it appears to be a solid piece of equipment that will meet my needs, now that I have it put together. I purchased this for my JD X739 with Click-N-Go brackets but before I bought it on-line, I called to ensure that it was compatible with the 3-point hitch I had my dealer install. I was paranoid about it fitting properly because the Click-N-Go ballast box my dealer sold me was no longer usable once the 3 point hitch was in place. The person I spoke with could not answer my question but I decided to purchase it anyway. When I began to assemble the sprayer, the instructions for the X700 series were seriously lacking. The hardware parts list identified the items with letters but the bolts, nuts and washers were just showing with their quantities, no lettering or numbering system. The actual instructions, however, used a completely different lettering system than the parts list, making it somewhat difficult to figure out. When I was far enough along in the assembly I took my first measurement regarding the width of the assembled brackets and it was clear I did not have the right hardware. I called the help number for Agri-Fab explained the issue to the technician, Sandy. She knew immediately that I had been provided the wrong support bars (I needed 18 inch versus the 15 inch provided) so she had the correct ones, with additional hardware, sent out to me. I also asked her if she knew if my 3-point hitch would be an issue, but she did not know. The new support bars arrived quickly and despite the poor instructions, I was able to assemble everything. Further, the answer to my question is YES, the 3-point hitch does not cause any issues with the sprayer installation, and I noted that one of the installation diagrams actually depicts the 3-point hitch's upper connection points, so I was not to worry. Had the instructions been better and the correct parts been delivered initially, I would probably have rated this 5 stars.

The sprayer worked as advertised. Easy set-up with the click and go bracket. Completed sprayed my 11/2 acre property in about 30 min. Way better than dragging hoses around the yard. Wish I had splurged on one years ago.
