John Deere Backhoe Trencher Bucket - BXX10246

I bought this trenching bucket to install 200 feet of drainage pipe. It arrived quickly by UPS, unlike the lead times on some other buckets for sale. It installs quite easily on the JD 260B, replacing my existing 12” bucket in about 15 minutes. (Note: I watched a YouTube video in advance). The bucket has cutout sides, so it doesn’t get clogged up with dirt(rocky clay in my case), but also won’t pick up very much dirt in the process, so there’s the trade off. Overall, perfect for the task, and a great tool to have available.

Huge fan of this 7" trencher bucket! We have a 2021 JD 2025R and had no trouble attaching this beauty. As you can see from the photos, we had a narrow area to dig in, and the whole project came off without a hitch, thanks to this quality attachment. Many thanks, and highly recommend!

This bucket is just a strong and well made as my original larger bucket. It does a fine job trenching a drainage ditch but doesn't hold alot of material per scoop. Overall I'm very satisfied with it's performance but it does packup on wet clay, but again don't they all.
