My LT155 Lawn Tractor engine started stalling and when I tried to restart it backfired. I did some research and found that the ignition module was commonly at fault. I ordered the module and received it two days latter. Took a half hour to install and now the tractor engine runs great

This ignition module worked perfect on my 1992 John Deere Yellow Deck STX38. I am very pleased with this purchase. The price was fair and the shipping was speedy.

I was having trouble with the Gt225 running properly and starting. I tried everything else changed and checked spark plug, and fuel filter. Other electrical parts, carb, and fuel pump had been rebuilt or replaced within the past year or two. It was really the only thing left. The GT runs great now. :)

I have an LT155 that was not starting easily. When I would stop cranking it, it would often backfire. Once it started, it was usually OK, but then when I would stop the engine, it again would backfire. Now with a new Ignition module, it starts right up again and no backfires (after 2 weeks)

My LT155 would run sometimes, but sputter and quit. It acted like it was flooded. Not being a mechanic, I thought it was the carburetor so put a carb kit in it. Same problem. Then someone said it could be ignition module if it sputtered and back fired. That was my symptom. Ordered ignition module, GreenParts delivered fast...put it in and the thing has run great ever since with out 1 sputter. Summary: If you engine sputters randomly and then backfires...most likely ignition module.
